Pink lemonade is a huge hit in this house when it’s hot and sunny outside. I have two toddler girls in the house, so anything pink is a hit. Thursday we had a bunch of strawberries that were on their last leg, so I wanted to use them fast. Smoothies are always a great way to use up fruit before it goes bad! Into the blender went the strawberries along with a lemon and before I knew it we had strawberry lemonade or “pink lemonade”, as it’s know in this house. The first batch I made I left pink but the next round had a big handful of spinach added. I made this smoothie again Friday, and I have a feeling I’ll be making it again this weekend. You have to give it a try! Just a few ingredients, and one minute in the blender! DELISH!
