Spring arrived early Atlanta! It’s been close to 80 all week, sunny, and flowers blooming everywhere. With the warmer temperatures, and blooming flowers, comes allergy season. I have horrible allergies. As soon as I take two steps outside I’m sneezing and my eyes are watery and puffy. I searched for “Foods that help Allergies” and found an article on Livestrong.com that listed yogurt, citrus, whole grains, and red and green vegetables as food that help. They said in the article, “Vitamin C is particularly beneficial for allergy sufferers because it counteracts histamine, a substance your body releases that contributes to sneezing, itching, runny nose and hives.” Yogurt and oranges together in a smoothie with a little Barlean’s Orange Cream Omega Fish Oil, equals healthy and delicious orange creamsicle smoothie! Enjoy!
