Mango Peach Smoothie

Mango Peach Smoothie

Peaches are one of my favorite fruits.  Mid-summer when stone fruits are in season my eyes light up at the grocery store like some would walking into the shoe section of their favorite department store.  I stock up and freeze to use all winter, or you can buy bagged frozen fruit anytime of the year.  I made this smoothie after finding Barlean’s Mango Peach Omega Swirl, which is high in Vitamin D, E and Omega’s.  In the winter month’s vitamin D is especially important to beat the winter blues.  I knew I had frozen mango and peaches on hand.  I just added a banana for texture.  You could also use avocado in place of banana.  This smoothie is simple, quick, loaded with vitamins, and a peachy flavor.  Yummy!

Happy Smoothie Saturday!
