A filling smoothie that is low in sugar (11 grams) and high in protein (13 grams) and fiber (15 grams).
- 1 cup unsweetened Coconut Milk
- 2 tbsp natural Almond Butter
- 2 tbsp shredded organic coconut
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1 tbsp chocolate protein powder (I use Amazing Grass Amazing Meal Chocolate Protein Powder)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 ice cubes
- Add all the ingredients to the blender
- Start on a low speed, slowly increasing to high
- Blend until smooth, about 1 minute
I did not add any sweetener but if needed you could add 1 - 2 tsp of honey or agave.
