Valentine’s Day might mean chocolate and candy to some but here we are finding ways to get more fruits and vegetables into the kids. So let’s try playing BINGO at mealtime! You get to fill in the spaces with fruits, vegetables, household chores, or whatever you think your kids need a little extra incentive to do. I have listed some ideas below. As kids complete a space they can mark it off. Once they have a whole row covered they can earn a prize. Or you can try and get them to fill in the whole board for an even bigger prize! For my girls, ages 2 and 4, their favorite place is going to the bookstore and to the movies. So I’ll let them pick out a new book when they finish a row and we’ll go to a movie after they fill in their board. That’s music to their ears!

This morning we had so much fun playing “HEART” bingo. They wanted EVERYTHING in their smoothie! I finally cut them off and told them we would make another smoothie this afternoon. This game is going to be great even after Valentine’s Day! Here’s a picture of our “HEART” bingo game.
